A soft horned clay creature with crooked teeth holding a small rock in a sunlit forest.
Probaboracle’s character study. The rock is his crystal ball.

01 / The story

A small place for a question.

Probaboracle starts with four choices: what, when, why or where. It offers a short, vague answer while trying to preserve the shape of the selected question and its own recognisable voice.

That narrow interaction makes an unusual kind of character possible. A sentence can feel answer-like while leaving plenty of room for interpretation.

02 / The story

Giving uncertainty a face.

The visual studies give the oracle a soft clay body, uneven teeth and a small rock held with considerable care. His sunny forest setting and earnest expression develop the character around that object.

Thinking and sleeping studies explore other moments in the same world. They are separate still images; character animation and 3D modelling are future work.

03 / The story

The questions behind the answers.

The research began with a broad question about whether a response felt like Probaboracle. Later work separated coherence, relevance and useful absurdity into distinct questions.

Those records remain part of the project’s development. Its research runtime and the emerging character identity have their own stages and evidence.
